Former Anambra State governor, Chief Willie Obiano, has reportedly passed away.
Obiano died in a London hospital, although officials in Anambra State and members of his family have not yet issued any confirmation as of the time of filing this report.
Obiano, who governed Anambra State from 2014 to 2022, was known for his infrastructural projects, agricultural development programmes, and his administration’s efforts in improving security through the “Operation Kpochapu” initiative.
