The Bauchi State Ministry of Education has confirmed that all public and private schools will resume on April 6, 2025.
In a statement on Thursday, the ministry reminded parents and guardians that both day and boarding schools must resume on the stipulated date.
The Commissioner for Education, Dr. Lawal Mohammed Rimin Zayam, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring students’ academic success.

He also announced upcoming JAMB CBT training for students sponsored by the Bauchi State Government to help them excel in exams.
The ministry warned that late resumption will not be tolerated and urged parents to ensure their children return to school on time.

Schools had initially closed on March 1, 2025, following the academic calendar, but the extended break sparked concerns among stakeholders.
