The Africa Housing Awards 2025 has unveiled its prestigious list of awardees, recognizing outstanding leaders and institutions driving housing development and urban growth across Africa.
The Namibia Minister of Urban and Rural Development, Hon. Sankwasa James Sankwasa, The Nigerian Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Architect Ahmed Dangiwa, and Dangote cement have been sited among the list of ministers that will receive the Africa Housing Award 2025.
In a statement released in Abuja on Thursday, Festus Adebayo, Executive Director, Housing Development Advocacy Network, announced that the list of awardees for the Africa Housing Awards 2025 has been compiled.
The awards ceremony, scheduled to hold on December 12th, at Fraser Suites, Abuja, Nigeria, will bring together stakeholders from across Africa to appraise performance, recognize excellence, and encourage continued growth in the housing and construction sector.
“The Africa Housing Awards is a celebration of excellence, where we recognize those who have done exceedingly well and encourage others to strive for greatness,” Festus Adebayo said.
According to him, the Africa Housing Award is a platform where stakeholders across Africa meet at the end of the year to appraise performance, recognize outstanding achievements, and encourage excellence in the housing and urban development sector.
The Africa International Housing Show (AIHS) 2025, hosting the awards, aims to advance affordable housing and construction in Africa by promoting solutions for low- and middle-income earners, driving policy advancements, and fostering dialogue and collaboration.
The event promises to be a landmark celebration of visionary leaders and institutions shaping the future of Africa’s housing and urban landscape.
