Pastor Paul Enenche Declines ₦30m Donation, Urges Support for Orphanages

During a recent healing and deliverance crusade held in Kebbi State, the Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, respectfully declined a ₦30 million donation extended by the Governor of Kebbi State, Nasir Idris.

The donation was publicly presented by the state’s Commissioner for Social Duties, Zayyanu Umar Aliero, who represented the governor at the event. Aliero stated that the funds had been approved by Governor Idris for the organising committee and were available in cash for immediate delivery.

Describing the governor as a dedicated leader and the only “Comrade Governor” in Nigeria, Aliero emphasized the governor’s commitment to supporting religious initiatives. He noted that the full ₦30 million was on hand and ready for presentation before leaving the stage.

Despite the gesture, Pastor Enenche responded by asking that the donation be redirected towards charitable purposes, specifically recommending that the funds support orphanages or similar humanitarian efforts. His decision, captured in a widely circulated video, has drawn commendation from many who praised the emphasis on social responsibility and ethical stewardship.

The moment underscores the growing call for integrity and transparency in religious and political engagements, particularly in the use of public funds for philanthropic outreach.
