Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is set to inaugurate 233 new housing units at Abraham Adesanya Housing Estate, Ajah, located along the Lekki-Epe Expressway.
The inauguration, scheduled for Friday, was confirmed by Mr. Moruf Akinderu-Fatai, the state Commissioner for Housing.
The statement, signed by Mr. Ganiu Lawal, Deputy Director of Public Affairs, Lagos State Ministry of Housing, explained that the project includes 34 blocks comprising a total of 233 units, designed to meet the growing housing demand in Lagos.
Commissioner Akinderu-Fatai noted that the estate is a joint venture between Lagos State Government and Urban Shelter Ltd., a private real estate company, emphasizing the ministry’s commitment to delivering affordable, quality homes in line with Sanwo-Olu’s promise to complete all ongoing housing projects.
The Abraham Adesanya Housing Estate, inaugurated on January 15, 2001, by former Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu, sits on 3.7 hectares of fully developed land along the Lekki–Epe Expressway.
This development follows Sanwo-Olu’s recent inauguration of 420 housing units at Akinsanya Sunny Ajose Housing Estate, Ajara, in October 2025.
The new housing units are expected to boost Lagos’ housing stock significantly, providing modern and accessible homes for residents across the state.
