Speaking on Saturday at an event in Erin-Ile, Oyun Local Government Area, Kwara State, Fagbemi emphasized that violent incidents affect all regions and communities equally.

“Violence is not directed at any single religion. Killings have occurred in Zamfara, Sokoto, and other states, showing clearly that insecurity is a national challenge,” he said.

Fagbemi highlighted that the Federal Government is actively addressing terrorism, kidnappings, banditry, and other criminal activities across the country.

He encouraged citizens to support ongoing reforms under President Bola Tinubu’s administration, aimed at building a stronger foundation for national growth and development.

Fagbemi also commended the appointment of the new Elerin of Erin-Ile, Oba Jimoh Adesoye, stating that the monarch’s leadership would benefit the local community.

He encouraged residents to support developmental initiatives focusing on youth empowerment, agriculture, healthcare, and security.

The ceremony concluded with the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, presenting the traditional beaded crown to the new monarch.

In a statement signed by Badamasi S. Haiba, Director of Press and Public Relations, the ministry clarified that no company or consultant has been authorized to manage or auction the properties.

The ministry said the disclaimer followed reports that Pink Synergy Global claimed to be the official auctioneer. The company allegedly wrote letters and proposals to individuals and agencies, asking them to buy expression of interest forms for the houses.

“For the avoidance of doubt, no sale of the 753 units has commenced,” the ministry stated. It added that any official announcement on the sale would be made directly, with clear guidelines approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The public has been advised to direct all inquiries to the ministry through the Departments of Public Building, Housing Development, and Press and Public Relations before making any financial commitments.
