<p data-start="483" data-end="694">Meanwhile, Vice Admiral Ibokette Ibas (retd.), the sole administrator appointed by President Bola Tinubu to oversee Rivers State for the next six months, had yet to assume office as of 12:50 p.m. on Wednesday.</p>
<p data-start="696" data-end="851" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="">Preparations for Ibas&#8217; arrival were observed at the Government House, with around 15 soldiers stationed within the premises ahead of his expected takeover.</p>
