Salisu Badamasi Haiba, Director of Press and Public Relations, issued the statement and quoted Permanent Secretary Shuaib Belgore. He explained that the Ministry aimed this decision solely at those who ignored the payment requirements. According to him, the Ministry wants to ensure accountability and manage the housing scheme with fairness and efficiency.

Beneficiaries who completed payment before the February 28, 2025 deadline still have valid allocations. The Ministry urged them to come forward, collect their Letters of Allocation, and take possession of their homes without delay.

According to the statement, the revocation strictly applies to individuals who did not fulfill the payment requirements within the deadline.

“The full list of individuals whose Provisional Offer of Allocation has been revoked is now available on the ministry’s website,” it said.

The statement clarified that beneficiaries who successfully completed their payments on or before February 28, 2025, remain unaffected.

All successful beneficiaries are advised to visit the ministry to collect their letters of allocation and take possession immediately.
