The Kano State government has unveiled plans to construct houses for residents displaced by recent flood disasters.

This was disclosed in a statement released on Thursday by the media aide to Governor Abba Yusuf, Sunusi Bataure.

The announcement was made during the weekly State Executive Council meeting, held on Wednesday, where Governor Yusuf emphasized the initiative’s aim to alleviate the impact of flooding on affected families.

“The provision of these homes will provide much-needed shelter for flood victims, offering them a stable place for their families,” the governor stated.
