Faloye’s lawyer, Oluowho Vincent Enejeta &amp; Co., stated that NHIA occupied his property for ten years before vacating it improperly.</p>

<p>The landlord accused NHIA of overstaying by four months without paying rent, leaving an outstanding debt of N2.5 million.</p>
<p data-start="651" data-end="778">NHIA responded, claiming that painting and minor repairs fell under reasonable wear and tear, but ignored the rent issue.</p>
<p data-start="780" data-end="904" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="">Faloye insists that NHIA must settle all outstanding rent and renovation costs totaling N5 million or face legal action.</p>
