The Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGI), launched in August 2023, aims to make CNG a more accessible and affordable alternative to petrol. To facilitate the transition, the government has been establishing CNG conversion centers nationwide and implementing measures to reduce commuting costs.

The recently introduced “Pay Later” option provides drivers with a flexible payment plan to cover the conversion costs. This initiative is expected to encourage more vehicle owners to consider CNG as a viable solution to rising fuel prices.

While most petrol-powered vehicles can be converted to CNG, it’s essential to note that not all engines are suitable. Older vehicles and high-performance engines may require special considerations or may not be compatible with the conversion process.

• Emission Standards: Vehicles must meet specific emission standards to be eligible for conversion.
• Conversion Kit Selection: Choose between sequential and Venturi kits based on your vehicle’s type and desired performance.
• Certified Conversion Center: Ensure the conversion is performed by trained technicians at an accredited center.
