<p data-start="332" data-end="519">A source revealed that despite the lack of electricity, residents still receive and pay bills. An AEDC agent reportedly asked each household to contribute N10,000 for a new transformer.</p>

<p data-start="839" data-end="974">She called on the government to investigate and ensure essential infrastructure is provided without imposing extra financial burdens.</p>
<h3 data-start="976" data-end="1032"><strong data-start="980" data-end="1030">AEDC Denies Involvement in Transformer Payment</strong></h3>
<p data-start="1034" data-end="1205" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="">Acting AEDC Managing Director, Chijioke Okwuokenye, denied authorizing any payments, stating that asset financing follows strict company policies and regulatory standards.</p>
