<p>In a post on X, Montgomery credited the move to reforms introduced by President Bola Tinubu’s administration, saying it would boost trade and investment confidence.</p>
<p>Nigeria was delisted at the October 2025 FATF Plenary in Paris after meeting all reform requirements led by the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) and partner agencies.</p>
<p>Tinubu hailed the development as a “strategic victory” for Nigeria’s economy and reaffirmed his government’s commitment to transparency and accountability.</p>
