Nigeria’s housing sector is set to receive renewed attention as Vice President and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory are expected to headline the Renewed Hope Housing Summit scheduled for April 2026 in .
The summit is being organised by the in partnership with , with the goal of accelerating large-scale housing delivery across Nigeria through structured public-private partnerships (PPPs).
The high-level event will take place at the under the theme: “From Policy to Projects: Financing and Delivering Housing at Scale through PPPs.”
Focus on Public-Private Partnerships
According to the ministry, the summit will serve as a strategic policy and transaction platform aimed at promoting effective collaboration between government institutions and private investors in the housing sector.
Stakeholders expected at the summit include federal and state policymakers, legislators, institutional investors, housing developers, and development partners.
Discussions will focus on aligning policy frameworks with practical housing projects capable of delivering affordable homes across the country.
Participants will also explore project pipelines, financing instruments, risk allocation frameworks, and successful delivery models that can be replicated across Nigerian states.
