Property development company Bitprop has unveiled an innovative partnership model that enables township homeowners to develop rental flats on their land, helping them become sustainable property entrepreneurs.

Under the model, homeowners lease their land to Bitprop, which provides the expertise, funding, and project management needed to complete construction within three months.

During the 10-year partnership, the homeowner receives 15% of the gross monthly rent, while Bitprop uses its share of the income to recover invested capital and deliver a market-based return to its investors. After the 10-year period, Bitprop fully exits the arrangement, allowing the homeowner to retain 100% of the rental income.

Described as a “one-stop shop” for homeowners, Bitprop handles every aspect of the process from design and construction to tenant management  while training property owners to run their rental businesses independently.

According to the company, the initiative offers a sustainable investment model that channels private capital into township property development, fostering economic inclusion and long-term wealth creation.
