Court Declares KYC Interproject Lacks Legal Title to Disputed Plots, Warns Public Against Transactions

A recent court ruling has invalidated all transactions linked to several disputed plots of land, after a High Court in Abuja declared that KYC Interproject Ltd has no legal title to the affected properties.

Delivering judgment, Hon. Justice A. A. Halilu held that the company lacked the lawful capacity to sell the plots in question. As a result, the Court nullified the transaction involving the purported purchaser, describing it as legally void.

Public Caution Issued

Following the ruling, an official public notice has advised Nigerians to avoid any form of transaction—whether purchase, lease, or transfer—on the listed plots until all ongoing legal disputes are fully resolved.

The notice stated clearly:
“Any person who proceeds to transact on these plots at this time does so entirely at their own risk.”

Where to Seek Clarification

Members of the public seeking further clarification have been directed to contact the registrars of the courts currently handling the cases or reach out to the designated channels provided in the notice.
