Initial reports confirmed two fatalities and six injuries, but updated figures revealed four individuals lost their lives, with seven rescued and taken for medical treatment with varying degrees of injury.

Rescue efforts continued through the night and were concluded early the next morning. Authorities have promised a full structural assessment to uncover the cause of the collapse and ensure nearby buildings are not at risk.

The tragedy has reignited public concern over the safety of uncompleted buildings, particularly during the rainy season, as experts warn of the dangers posed by unstable structures and poor drainage in flood-prone areas.
