Katsina Governor Reshuffles Cabinet, Creates Livestock Ministry

Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has approved a cabinet reshuffle and established a new Ministry of Livestock Development.

His Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula-Mohammed, announced the changes on Saturday in Katsina.

Prof. Ahmad Muhammad-Bakori will head the new ministry, while Alhaji Adnan Nahabu moves to Higher, Vocational and Technical Education. Alhaji Aliyu Lawal-Zakari takes charge of Agriculture, and Hajiya Zainab Musa-Musawa moves to Special Duties.

New commissioners include Alhaji Yusuf Suleiman-Jibia for Basic Education, Alhaji Surajo Yazid-Abukur for Youths and Sports, and Hajiya Aisha Aminu for Women Affairs.

Governor Radda said the reshuffle, effective immediately, aims to improve service delivery and strengthen governance under his “Building Your Future Agenda.”
