Imo CP Warns Police Officers to Avoid Land Dispute Cases

The Commissioner of Police in Imo State, CP Aboki Danjuma, has issued a strong warning to officers under his command, instructing them to stay away from civil land disputes.

This directive was announced on Sunday by the command’s spokesperson, Henry Okoye, who confirmed that the warning follows an order from the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun.

According to CP Danjuma, any officer caught interfering in land-related matters will face strict disciplinary action in line with police regulations.

He also cautioned members of the public against submitting misleading petitions to the police. Anyone found guilty of providing false information to manipulate the command will be investigated and prosecuted.

“In line with the IGP’s directive, the Commissioner of Police, Imo State Command, CP Aboki Danjuma, has issued a stern warning to all personnel to steer clear of land-related civil disputes,” said Okoye.
“Any officer found culpable will face firm disciplinary measures. Petitioners attempting to mislead the police will also be investigated and prosecuted.”
