The Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has denied appointing Pink Synergy Global Company Limited or granting it rights to sell the 753 houses seized by the EFCC from former CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele.
In a statement signed by Badamasi S. Haiba, Director of Press and Public Relations, the ministry clarified that no company or consultant has been authorized to manage or auction the properties.
The ministry said the disclaimer followed reports that Pink Synergy Global claimed to be the official auctioneer. The company allegedly wrote letters and proposals to individuals and agencies, asking them to buy expression of interest forms for the houses.
“For the avoidance of doubt, no sale of the 753 units has commenced,” the ministry stated. It added that any official announcement on the sale would be made directly, with clear guidelines approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The public has been advised to direct all inquiries to the ministry through the Departments of Public Building, Housing Development, and Press and Public Relations before making any financial commitments.
