Lagos Head of Service Commissions Renovated LSDPC Office Block

The Lagos State Head of Service, Bode Agoro, has commissioned the newly renovated Block A office building of the Lagos State Development and Property Corporation (LSDPC), as the state government continues efforts to improve public service delivery.

The commissioning ceremony took place at the corporation’s headquarters in Lagos and was attended by government officials, LSDPC management, staff members and other guests.

Speaking at the event, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of LSDPC, Ayodeji Joseph, said the renovation was aimed at creating a better working environment for staff and improving the corporation’s ability to deliver on its responsibilities.

He explained that the project went beyond improving the building’s appearance, noting that a functional workplace could encourage teamwork, improve staff productivity and support more effective service delivery.

Joseph said LSDPC had a responsibility to maintain standards that reflected its role in property development, housing delivery and the management of government-owned real estate assets.

He also urged the corporation’s management and staff to maintain the renovated facility and ensure that the investment translated into better performance and professionalism.

In his remarks, Agoro congratulated the management and staff on completing the renovation. He said the quality of public infrastructure was important to the effective operation of government institutions.

According to him, a well-maintained workplace provides an environment where staff can make decisions, develop ideas and deliver services more effectively.

Agoro also highlighted LSDPC’s role in the development of Lagos State, particularly in housing, property development and the management of government real estate assets.

He noted that improving public infrastructure should go hand in hand with strengthening the people responsible for delivering government services.

The Head of Service encouraged staff to demonstrate greater commitment, integrity, accountability and collaboration in their duties. He stressed that the benefits of the renovation would ultimately depend on how effectively the facility was used.

Agoro subsequently declared the renovated Block A building officially open for use.

The project forms part of efforts to maintain public infrastructure and provide a more suitable working environment for employees of the state-owned corporation.

LSDPC plays a role in property development and housing delivery in Lagos State, where growing population pressures and demand for accommodation continue to make housing and real estate management important areas of public policy.
