The landowners of Treasure Park and Garden Phase 2, City of David Estate in Shimawa, Ogun State, have publicly refuted claims by Adron Homes and Properties Limited asserting sole ownership of the estate. The dispute escalated following the recent installation of a signpost by Adron Homes at the estate’s entrance on October 4, 2025, branding it as a private development exclusively owned and developed by the company.

In a statement, Olabode Cole, representing the landowners, condemned the move as an act made in bad faith. He stressed that the landowners, who lawfully purchased plots, settled all development fees, and constructed properties within the estate, reject the company’s unilateral declaration.

The landowners further reminded the public that the question of ownership is currently before the High Court in Sagamu, Ogun State, in Suit No. HCS/482/2024. The ongoing litigation seeks a court declaration affirming that the estate is jointly owned by all property owners within Treasure Park and Garden Phase 2, City of David Estate.

“Adron Homes and Properties Limited cannot validly claim sole ownership of the estate, as this matter is being adjudicated in court,” Cole emphasized. He urged prospective buyers, residents, and other stakeholders to exercise due diligence by independently verifying property titles and ownership rights pending the court’s final judgment.

This statement from the landowners serves as a formal notice to the public, highlighting the unresolved legal dispute and cautioning against acceptance of any exclusive ownership claims made by Adron Homes at this time.
