Multi-Billion Naira Projects Approved to Boost Infrastructure and Digital Growth in Adamawa

Adamawa State has approved several multi-billion naira projects to improve infrastructure and promote digital innovation.

The approvals were made at the State Executive Council’s 20th meeting, chaired by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in Yola.

Illiya James, Commissioner for Information, said the projects aim to modernize public institutions and enhance service delivery.

Key approvals include ₦837 million to upgrade the Civil Service Commission complex, ₦279 million for the Presidential Lodge, and ₦461 million for new ADSIEC facilities.

The Council also ratified ₦396 million for 12,000 bags of NPK fertilizer for farmers and ₦936 million for phase one of the Adamawa Digital Academy, which will support ICT training through renewable energy and broadband access.

Other projects include ₦905 million for additional ADSIEC works, ₦182 million for flyover signage, ₦794 million to renovate the State Liaison Office in Abuja, and ₦600 million to complete the House of Assembly extension.

Commissioner Abdullahi Adamu Pirambe said the projects reflect the government’s goal to upgrade infrastructure, drive innovation, and strengthen digital literacy across the state.
