As Nigeria’s microfinance sector celebrates 20 years of driving financial inclusion, Qore, Africa’s leading fintech infrastructure and Banking-as-a-Service provider, has been announced as the headline sponsor of the National Association of Microfinance Banks’ (NAMB) 20th Anniversary.

The partnership reflects Qore’s commitment to helping microfinance institutions digitize operations, improve collections, and enhance customer experience through scalable and reliable financial technology.

Over the years, microfinance banks have played a vital role in empowering small businesses and low-income households. Representing over 900 licensed banks nationwide, NAMB has championed policy advocacy, capacity building, and collaboration across the subsector.

With over 15 years of fintech experience, Qore powers more than 600 financial institutions, processing 250 million transactions monthly and facilitating ₦150 billion in loans. Its key platforms, BankOne, Recova, Cluster, and Pryme, help microfinance banks automate lending, simplify collections, and deliver instant digital services.

Qore’s Vice President of Core Banking and Merchant Services, Patrick Irebo, described Nigeria’s microfinance story as one of “courage, innovation, and community.” He added, “We’re proud to power the next frontier—helping microfinance banks strengthen operations, build digital resilience, and keep driving inclusion.”

The NAMB @ 20 celebration will serve as a platform for reflection and collaboration. As headline sponsor, Qore will engage industry leaders, share success stories, and offer free consultation sessions on digital transformation.
