President Bola Tinubu has expressed optimism about Nigeria’s future, declaring that the most difficult phase of the country’s reform journey is now behind it, and that the nation is moving toward a more stable and prosperous era.
In his message marking this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, President Tinubu extended warm greetings to Muslims in Nigeria and around the world, highlighting the values of sacrifice, faith, and compassion that define the season.
“This is a moment to reflect deeply on our shared values and collective responsibilities. We have endured tough times, but we are turning a corner,” he said.
Acknowledging the efforts of Nigerians in staying hopeful through recent challenges, the President praised their patience and resilience, noting that current reforms are beginning to yield tangible results. “Our efforts are already reflected in improving economic indicators. These changes are designed to create lasting impact, not just improve statistics,” he added.
Tinubu emphasized that while the journey has not been easy, the administration’s focus remains on long-term solutions. He urged citizens to continue believing in the Renewed Hope vision, reassuring that the policies in place are meant to restore stability and improve daily life.
The President also expressed solidarity with communities affected by recent disasters, particularly flooding in Mokwa, Niger State, and called for collective support and prayers for the victims. “As we celebrate, let us remember those in need and extend compassion wherever we can,” he said.
He concluded by encouraging Nigerians to keep praying for the country’s peace and leadership, and to draw inspiration from the enduring values of unity and sacrifice that Eid represents.
