… AIHS 2025 to Host Over 400 Global Brands as Housing Investment Dialogue Heats Up

Top Lagos-based real estate developers including Nedcomoaks, Periwinkle, Tribitat, Gracias Global Homes, and Zylus are among the leading industry players gearing up for the 19th edition of the Africa International Housing Show (AIHS), Africa’s biggest housing and construction event scheduled to take place from July 27 to August 1, 2025, at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.

Under the theme “Reimagining Housing Through Innovation, Collaboration, and Policy,” AIHS 2025 will spotlight bold ideas and transformative partnerships aimed at solving Africa’s housing deficit.

With more than 400 top brands already confirmed, the event is set to break new ground in housing investment, policy innovation, and sustainable development.

Industry giants such as Dangote Cement, Lafarge Africa, Urban Shelter, Mshel Homes, Hall 7, Cosgrove, and Brain & Hammers will feature alongside key financial institutions like CityCode Mortgage Bank, NMRC, Family Homes Funds, and the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN). Cutting-edge firms including CDK, Haven Homes, Brooks Africa, DME Group, and COPEN Group will also showcase groundbreaking solutions across the housing value chain.

This year’s edition will bring together over 40,000 participants from more than 21 countries, including Ministers, Governors, Parliamentarians from Ghana and Nigeria, Ambassadors, policy influencers, and international development partners such as the World Bank, IFC, Shelter Afrique, AUHF, and the African Development Bank.

AFRICA INTERNATIONAL HOUSING SHOW

AIHS 2025 will serve as a platform for high-level conversations on urgent sector challenges from land access and housing finance to non-interest banking and pension-driven investments.

Top-tier banks like Lotus Bank, Jaiz Bank, and TAJ Bank will lead the discourse on non-interest housing finance and capital market instruments.

The AIHS CEOs Forum will convene local and international leaders to explore large-scale developments, new investment models, and climate-smart construction. A spotlight on CEOs under 40 will celebrate emerging voices driving innovation, while the Women in Real Estate segment will focus on inclusive and gender-responsive development strategies.

In addition, the event will feature parliamentary dialogues, addressing outdated housing laws and legislative reforms across African countries. Dedicated sessions will also connect the African diaspora to verified, profitable real estate investments back home.

The Best of AIHS Awards Gala will honor excellence in affordable housing, sustainable architecture, innovation, and social impact, reinforcing AIHS’s role as the benchmark for housing excellence on the continent.

Supported by the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, under the leadership of Arc. Ahmed Dangiwa, AIHS 2025 is expected to spotlight continental, national and subnational government-backed initiatives aimed at scaling housing delivery and infrastructure investment.

With increasing interest from investors across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, AIHS 2025 is poised to spark multi-million-dollar partnerships, promote local production, and accelerate the transformation of Africa’s urban future.

“As Africa battles a housing deficit of over 22 million units in Nigeria alone, the urgency for coordinated, innovative action is now,” said Festus Adebayo, Convener of AIHS and Executive Director of the Housing Development Advocacy Network (HDAN). “This is not just another event, it’s a movement to reshape the future of housing in Africa.”
