The Australian-born entrepreneur is building businesses across digital property listings, quantitative trading and Indonesian property investment, with a $55 million resort project planned in West Lombok.

Australian-born entrepreneur Adrian James Campbell is expanding his business interests across international real estate, artificial intelligence-driven quantitative trading and property investment after about 15 years of building businesses in Asia.

Campbell is chief executive and co-founder of Kinnara Limited, a Hong Kong-registered digital property listing platform. He also chairs and co-founded iQuant Fund, a quantitative trading business, and leads Kinnara Capital, which focuses on capital raising, land acquisition and land transaction consultancy in Indonesia.

His business interests combine digital technology, financial markets and property investment, reflecting a strategy built around operating across multiple sectors and international markets.

Rather than following a conventional route through property sales or construction, Campbell said his experience in operations, digital marketing and financial markets shaped his approach to entrepreneurship.

From An Australian Farming Community To Asian Markets

Born in 1989 in Shepparton, Victoria, Campbell grew up in a farming family. He said his upbringing continues to influence his approach to business and personal responsibility.

“My father always taught me, ‘Don’t forget where you come from,’” Campbell said. “Those grassroots are still an important part of my life.”

His professional journey began in the solar energy sector in 2008 before he moved into resort management in 2011.

In 2014, he began managing a portfolio of holiday villas in Bali, a business he continues to operate.

Campbell subsequently established a digital marketing company in 2015 before entering the trading education sector in 2016 and 2017. He said the experience introduced him to financial markets and helped lay the groundwork for his later involvement in quantitative trading.

That experience eventually contributed to the establishment of iQuant Fund, which applies artificial intelligence to quantitative trading strategies.

iQuant Fund Applies AI To Quantitative Trading

Campbell co-founded iQuant Fund and serves as its chairman. The business uses technology to support data-driven approaches to financial markets.

The company is enrolled in the AWS Activate and NVIDIA Inception programmes, which support startups and businesses developing technology-driven products.

Quantitative trading uses mathematical models, statistical analysis and data to inform trading decisions. Artificial intelligence can support the analysis of market information, although its use does not guarantee profitable outcomes.

Campbell’s involvement in the sector represents one part of a broader business portfolio that also includes digital property marketing and direct property investment.

Kinnara Targets International Property Buyers

Campbell and his co-founders began developing Kinnara in 2021 and launched the platform in 2023.

The Hong Kong-registered business operates as a digital property marketplace designed to connect buyers with real estate agents across international markets.

According to company figures, Kinnara’s network covers 76 portals in 44 countries, with approximately 21,500 registered agents and more than 25,000 properties listed for sale.

The platform aims to help buyers explore opportunities beyond their domestic property markets.

“We built Kinnara to be a marketplace, not a developer,” Campbell said. “A buyer on the other side of the world needs to know that a person has checked every listing before it goes live.”

Campbell said the company manually reviews property listings before publication. It also offers a concierge service through which prospective buyers can describe their requirements and receive assistance from agents who may identify suitable properties.

According to the company, Singapore and selected international markets are important areas of activity.

The marketplace model allows Kinnara to connect buyers and agents without directly developing every property advertised on its platform.

Kinnara Capital Moves Into Indonesian Property Investment

Campbell established Kinnara Capital in 2024 as a separate business focused on capital raising, land acquisition and consultancy on land transactions across Indonesia.

Company information cited in its business profile indicates that its land interests include beachside holdings across several Indonesian islands.

Its flagship project is Saraya Beach Resort & Residences, a planned beachfront development in Sekotong, West Lombok.

The proposed project comprises 154 villas and carries a stated development value of US$55 million.

Campbell said the project had been accepted into IPro Indonesia, with Kinnara Capital identified as its developer. Construction is scheduled to begin in November 2026.

He said the development was designed with the intention of handing it over to a five-star hotel chain and a top-tier operator once completed.

The project represents a shift from digital property listings towards land acquisition and physical real estate development.

However, the scheduled construction date, proposed development value and intended operating arrangements remain project plans rather than evidence of completed construction or an operational resort.

Community Engagement Forms Part Of Business Strategy

Beyond his commercial activities, Campbell said he supports First Nations communities in Australia and Indonesia.

He cited a Community Day organised at Saraya in Lombok as an example of the project’s community engagement efforts.

“Business gives you the means to give back,” Campbell said. “If the communities around a project are not better off for it, the project has not succeeded.”

His comments reflect his stated view that commercial projects should also consider their effects on surrounding communities.

The scale and long-term outcomes of the community initiatives were not detailed in the information provided.

A Business Portfolio Spanning Multiple Sectors

Campbell’s interests now cover digital property marketing, AI-driven quantitative trading, land transactions and property investment across international markets.

Kinnara provides the digital marketplace component, while iQuant Fund focuses on quantitative trading and Kinnara Capital pursues land and property opportunities in Indonesia.

The planned Saraya Beach Resort & Residences development is expected to be the next major step in his expansion into physical property development.

With construction scheduled for November 2026, the project’s next milestones will include the commencement of building work and progress towards the proposed hotel operating arrangement.

Campbell’s business trajectory illustrates his stated strategy of combining technology, financial markets and property investment while pursuing opportunities across borders.
