Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company (KMRC) has emerged as winners of the Africa Housing Finance Company of the year Award at the Africa Housing Awards 2023.
The Award was in recognition of the Company’s continued efforts to propagate excellence and effective service delivery in the mortgage sector in Kenya and Africa all through 2023. Receiving the Awards were representatives from the company, amidst encomiums from dignitaries present.
The core mandate of KMRC is to provide long-term funds to primary mortgage lenders (PMLs) for purposes of increasing availability of affordable home loans to Kenyans and other strides taken to further fuel the development of the Mortgage sector in Kenya. As a result, the key achievements of the company have continued to garner attention across Africa.

Notable key players in the Mortgage Sector presented with Awards at the Africa Housing Awards 2023 are Platinum Mortgage Bank Ltd who emerged winners of the most admired Mortgage Brand in 2023, AG Mortgage bank PLC & City Code Mortgage Bank Ltd who emerged winners of Mortgage Bank of the year 2023. The Africa Housing Awards 2023 event took place on the 17th of December, 2023 and had in attendance dignitaries and key players in the industry from all over the World. The Awards were given in recognition of the giant strides of excellence of these individuals in their various spheres of influence, further advancing the cause of the Real Estate Industry.
