Tambuwal Urges Tinubu to Address Nigerians’ Concerns

Former Sokoto State Governor and current Senator representing Sokoto South at the 10th National Assembly, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has called on President Bola Tinubu to pay heed to the cries of Nigerians amid the harsh socio-economic conditions they are facing.

Speaking in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, after visiting former President Olusegun Obasanjo on his 87th birthday, Tambuwal urged Nigerians not to lose hope, assuring them that things would improve.

Tambuwal emphasized the need for prayer and right actions, both from those in government and the citizenry, to bring about positive change in the country.

In terms of his legislative efforts, Tambuwal highlighted his focus on providing robust representation for his constituency. He noted that several strategic road projects linking Zamfara and Kebbi states from his constituency have been included in the 2024 budget.

Additionally, he mentioned that bills aimed at ensuring affordable housing for Nigerians are in progress.

Regarding his visit to Obasanjo, Tambuwal stated that it has become an annual tradition to felicitate with the former President on his birthday, emphasizing his longstanding relationship with the Obasanjo family.
