HDAN Boss, Festus Adebayo Congratulates the new Oluoke, describing him as an embodiment of humility

The President of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), Prince Akintoye Adeoye, has emerged as the newly selected Oluoke of Okeigbo Kingdom, ushering in a new era of traditional leadership in the historic Yoruba town.

This development was confirmed in a press statement issued by the Executive Chairman of Ileoluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area, Honourable Adebare Adeboye, who congratulated the new monarch on his emergence after a peaceful and transparent selection process.

According to the statement, Prince Adeoye clinched the majority of votes 9 out of 14 from the Warrant Chiefs, surpassing five other contenders from the Aare Kugbaigbe Ruling House, including Prince Gbenga Aremu Odetayo Ojo, who polled five votes.

Honourable Adeboye praised the integrity and dedication of the 14 Warrant Chiefs, who fulfilled their royal duty with respect for tradition and under official supervision. He also expressed optimism that the new monarch would lead Okeigbo Kingdom into a future marked by unity, peace, and development.

“We believe that under the leadership of Prince Akintoye Adeoye as the Oluoke, Okeigbo will continue to witness growth, cultural pride, and sustained development,” the Chairman stated.

Reacting to the news, Barrister Festus Adebayo, Executive Secretary of the Housing Development Advocacy Network (HDAN), extended his warm congratulations, describing the new Oluoke as an embodiment of humility and praying for long life and wisdom on the throne of his ancestors.

Prince Adeoye’s emergence not only marks a significant milestone in the traditional leadership of Okeigbo but also highlights a unique convergence of modern leadership and cultural heritage, as he brings into the royal stool a wealth of experience from his role as the national head of REDAN.

The people of Okeigbo are now rallying behind their new monarch with hope and enthusiasm for a prosperous reign.
