FHA Begins Renewed Hope Housing Estate in Kaduna

The Federal Housing Authority (FHA) on Monday flagged off the construction of the Renewed Hope Housing Estate in Sobawa, Rigachikun, Kaduna State.

Governor Uba Sani, who led the groundbreaking ceremony, described the project as a practical demonstration of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at reducing Nigeria’s long-standing housing deficit and expanding access for the poor and vulnerable.

Sani noted that the project aligns with Kaduna State’s commitment to improving access to safe, decent, and affordable housing. He highlighted his administration’s ongoing efforts, including investor-driven developments, social housing schemes, and site-and-services initiatives designed to close critical housing gaps across the state.

The governor also referenced recent housing interventions for victims of banditry, as well as the commissioning of a Family Homes Fund–supported social housing project that delivered 100 energy-efficient bungalows to indigent widows.

Sani described the new FHA estate as a symbol of hope, dignity, and renewed opportunity, expected to bring relief to Kaduna’s most vulnerable residents.
