The has partnered with to accelerate large-scale housing delivery in Nigeria through a new public-private partnership initiative.
As part of the collaboration, both organisations will host the Renewed Hope Housing PPP Summit in April 2026 at the in .
The summit, themed “From Policy to Projects: Financing and Delivering Housing at Scale through PPPs,” aims to create a practical platform where policymakers, investors, and developers can design and finance large housing projects across the country.
Summit to Promote Housing Partnerships
According to organisers, the event will serve as a high-level platform for advancing Public–Private Partnerships (PPPs) in Nigeria’s housing sector.
The goal is to bring together federal and state policymakers, lawmakers, institutional investors, developers, and development partners to align housing policies with concrete projects capable of delivering homes at scale.
The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, , said the summit is designed to bridge the gap between policy discussions and real housing projects.
He noted that PPPs remain the most viable approach to mobilising long-term financing, combining government land and infrastructure with private-sector expertise to address Nigeria’s housing deficit.

The event will feature key government officials and industry leaders.
Among those expected are , Vice President of Nigeria, who will attend as the special guest, while the Minister of the , , will serve as host.

Global Housing Expert to Deliver Keynote
International housing reform expert , founder of Thought4Action, will deliver the summit’s keynote address, focusing on property rights reforms, informal economies, and PPP-driven housing development.
The one-day summit will also feature a specialised training workshop titled “Leveraging PPPs & Joint Ventures for Housing Development,” targeted at housing agency heads, project managers, and real estate developers.
Focus on Delivering Affordable Housing
Organisers said the event will include executive sessions, strategic coaching, and interactive engagements with government officials to help move housing discussions beyond policy debates to practical project implementation.
The initiative forms part of broader efforts by the federal government to increase affordable housing supply, stimulate investment in the real estate sector, and support sustainable urban development in Nigerian cities.
