In response to the heinous attacks in Plateau State, where over 100 lives were lost and 221 houses were destroyed in Bokkos and Barkin Ladi Local Government Areas, the Federal Government has taken prompt action. President Bola Tinubu has directed the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, led by Dr. Betta Edu, to collaborate with the Plateau State Government to provide urgent assistance.

Expressing deep sorrow over the senseless violence, Minister Edu pledged the ministry’s unwavering commitment to offering comprehensive humanitarian aid to both the survivors and the affected communities.
