The Chief Executive Officer of Archpoint Architecture and Construction Company, Mr. Olatunji Dare, has urged the Nigerian government to put in place a functional mortgage framework as a sustainable way of addressing the nation’s housing problems.
Mr. Dare made this appeal during a lecture organised in commemoration of his birthday, which was dedicated to exploring affordable housing opportunities for low-income earners and vulnerable citizens.
He explained that while Nigeria does not necessarily lack housing units, the major obstacle remains affordability. According to him, the introduction and effective implementation of a reliable mortgage system would go a long way in reducing the country’s housing shortfall and making home ownership more accessible.
Speaking on behalf of the management team, Archpoint’s Financial Director, Mr. Chris Ozichukwu Anele-Eche, commended Dare’s vision and unwavering pursuit of excellence.
“Today, we not only mark the birthday of our Chief Executive Officer but also celebrate a leader whose story exemplifies resilience, grace, and dedication to service. From humble beginnings to steering Archpoint to greater heights, he has turned challenges into stepping stones, fostering growth and innovation within the organisation,” Anele-Eche stated.
He added that Dare’s impact transcends corporate achievements. “His success is reflected not just in milestones but also in the lives he has influenced, the opportunities he has created, and the enduring legacy he continues to build,” he said.
