The Africa International Housing Show (AIHS) has extended heartfelt felicitations to His Royal Majesty, Oba Rilwan Babatunde Osuolale Aremu Akiolu, the Oba of Lagos, on the occasion of his 82nd birthday.
Festus Adebayo, Convener of AIHS in a congratulatory message issued in Abuja, described the revered monarch as a pillar of stability, wisdom, and humility whose reign has brought dignity, order, and progress to the Lagos Kingdom. He said Oba Akiolu has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership and served as a guiding light for both traditional and contemporary governance in Nigeria.
The AIHS Convener praised the monarch’s passion for justice, equity, and peace, noting that his deep sense of fairness and commitment to unity have earned him respect across all sectors of society.
“Kabiyesi has remained a symbol of integrity and cultural preservation. His dedication to the welfare of his people and his tireless efforts in promoting harmony and development make him an outstanding traditional ruler worthy of celebration,” Adebayo said.
He further lauded the monarch’s wisdom in bridging the gap between tradition and modernity, emphasizing that Oba Akiolu’s reign has continued to inspire leaders and institutions toward service, discipline, and excellence.
“As a man of strong moral conviction, Oba Akiolu represents the finest values of leadership, vision, courage, and compassion,” Adebayo added.
Festus Adebayo prayed for continued grace, sound health, and long life for the monarch, expressing optimism that his reign will continue to bring peace, prosperity, and progress to Lagos State and beyond.
Notably, Oba Rilwan Akiolu serves as the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Africa International Housing Show (AIHS), where his leadership and wisdom continue to inspire excellence in the housing and development sector.
