Dangiwa Vows to End Substandard Housing Projects, Warns Developers

Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Ahmed Dangiwa, has warned real estate developers across the country, urging them to uphold quality standards in housing projects.

Speaking during the commissioning of the D’mayors Estate in Abuja, Dangiwa emphasized the government’s determination to eradicate substandard practices in the industry.

He stressed that the administration of President Bola Tinubu is committed to citizens welfare and ensuring the delivery of affordable housing nationwide.

In addition to his warning about maintaining quality, Minister Dangiwa highlighted government efforts through the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to combat fraudulent practices and money laundering in the sector.

He underscored the need for strategic partnerships with the private sector to advance the nation’s housing agenda.

The Minister praised the Dynamic Mayor Edge group for their contribution to bridging the housing deficit, commending their effective participation in the sector’s revitalization efforts.

Highlight of the event was the commissioning of the expansive D’mayors Estate and laying of the foundation for the Broadfield Mall in the Apo area of Abuja by Minister Dangiwa, demonstrating significant progress towards addressing Nigeria’s housing challenges.
