The Federal Government has reaffirmed its dedication to providing affordable housing for civil servants across Nigeria.
This commitment will be actualized through the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation’s Federal Integrated Staff Housing (FISH) programme.
Dr. Folasade Yemi Esan, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, reiterated this pledge on Thursday during a site inspection of the construction of 116 housing units comprising two-bedroom semi-detached bungalows in Gwagwalada.
These homes will be allocated to core civil servants upon completion.
Yemi-Esan urged all contractors involved in the project to expedite efforts in providing essential amenities such as electricity, water, and internal road networks in the housing estate to ensure its habitability.
