Fast-growing property technology (proptech) firm Abode Assets real estate has celebrated its fourth anniversary, unveiling an ambitious ten-year roadmap designed to democratize property wealth across the continent. Founded in May 2022, the company has pledged to help more than one million Africans own, earn, and profit from institutional real estate by the year 2032.

The milestone highlights a dramatic upward trajectory for the Lagos-headquartered company, which initially entered Nigeria’s hyper-competitive property market to solve widespread issues concerning transparency, fragmented buyer processes, and consumer trust.

How Abode Assets Real Estate Overcomes Property Barriers

According to company executives, the core engine behind the Abode Assets real estate portfolio growth is its deployment of secure digital platforms. Through these systems, everyday buyers can easily track installment payments, manage certified property documents, and view transactions with full visibility.

“At a time when many aspiring property owners navigated transactions with limited transparency, we set out to create a more accessible, technology-driven path to ownership,” stated Jeffrey Ehikioya Itepu, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the firm.

Four years into operations, that tech-first strategy has yielded clear market dividends. The firm boasts a robust portfolio spanning 13 major housing projects across 13 distinct locations. Furthermore, its digital platform has scaled to support over 6,000 active users globally, stretching across 16 different countries.

Corporate Culture and Social Impact

The firm’s internal expansion is keeping pace with its external footprint. In March 2026, the real estate outfit was officially certified by the Great Place to Work Institute (External Link), reflecting an intentional focus on healthy workplace culture alongside product development.

Beyond its corporate achievements, the company is actively embedding corporate social responsibility into its operational strategy. Earlier this month, the group executed a large-scale community outreach initiative in the Obafemi Owode local government area of Ogun State. The program provided thousands of local residents with essential health resources, including free medical evaluations, public health education, clothing, and food provisions.

According to Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Damilare Oshokoya, sustainable business growth requires a deep investment in human capital—both inside the boardroom and within host communities.

The Future of Abode Assets Real Estate and Global Expansion

To counter the chronic shortages in skilled personnel within the local property market, the firm is preparing to launch Cohort 6 of its specialized real estate academy. This hands-on mentorship initiative equips next-generation real estate practitioners with practical market insights, combatting the knowledge gaps that historically limit small-scale participation in premium developments.

Concurrently, the company is intensifying its search for international investment. The upcoming international forum, ‘Abode UK: The Connect 2026’, is officially scheduled to take place on June 13, 2026, in London.

The elite networking event aims to connect the extensive African diaspora with lucrative, secured development opportunities back home. By providing a trusted framework for foreign remittances into physical assets, the Abode Assets real estate framework hopes to close Africa’s urban housing shortfall while offering competitive, inflation-hedged yields to overseas investors.
